PromoAid, the "marketing matchmaker," has named Alaina Tackett as Director of Business Development and is proud to welcome her to the team.
PromoAid's turnkey services based on their proprietary marketing data platform lead the industry in sourcing, researching, and selecting non-traditional media. We dramatically reduce the time and money that clients have to spend trying to match just the right marketing suppliers to their marketing plan.
In her new role, Tackett will be responsible for building our client base to add to our stellar list of current clients featuring agencies from holding companies including Hyper Marketing Inc. (Catapult Marketing, Ryan Partnership & RPM Connect), Omnicom (Alcone Marketing, Colangelo, TPN, The Marketing Arm & TracyLocke), WPP (G2, MARS Advertising), IPG (Momentum), as well as independent agencies including Blue Chip Marketing. Plus, marketers including Johnson & Johnson, Sun Products and Colgate also subscribe to the service as a resource for their promotional and Shopper Marketing planning needs.
Alaina’s background of working with senior level marketing executives was very appealing to us. Since PromoAid is changing the way that agencies and marketers source their marketing activation vehicles, it was important to have someone with the experience and sophistication to bring value to our potential clients. Alaina understands the challenges brands encounter in developing marketing plans, and how PromoAid can assist them in building more successful plans while saving them valuable resources.
Alaina joins PromoAid with 10 years of experience in advertising, and marketing sales and management, with a focus on web and print media. Most recently, Alaina spent over 6 years in Sales Executive roles at Schofield Media Group, a global advertising company, which culminated in her promotion to the Vice President of Sales. She was instrumental in the diversification of their sales portfolio by leading the team into new online markets and launching new print and media platforms. Alaina was also responsible for the training, management and leadership of the web and magazine sales teams, producing and growing revenue for the core units of the organization.
Alaina attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and received a BS in Marketing. Additionally, she earned a certificate in Entrepreneurial Studies, working with a small special events company, RMY Management Group, her junior and senior year of college. Her husband and young daughter reside in downtown Chicago.
Looking forward to great things in 2012!
