PromoAid Names Kelly Ryan Gartrell As New VP Business Development

EVANSTON, Ill., July 5 2011 — PromoAid, the "marketing matchmaker," has named Kelly Ryan Gartrell as VP Business Development. Gartrell brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in consumer promotion, sales, marketing, account management, and business development. Gartrell will focus on adding B2C agencies and marketers to the growing list of clients for the B2B agency. She will also be involved in determining strategies to maintain the leadership PromoAid has established as the industry’s largest resource of marketing program information.

Gartrell joins PromoAid from Shorewood Packaging, a top retail packaging manufacturer, where she worked closely with marketers on innovative promotional packaging from conception through to execution. Previously, she was national account manager at TSN Group. She also served 11 years at The Sunflower Group, a leading advertising and sampling execution company that provides targeted in-home, in-store, event, ROP (run of paper), and Internet programs to consumer packaged goods companies as well as retail and direct response companies. Gartrell served six years at Donnelley Marketing/Cox Direct, working with marketers on highly targeted list selection and direct mail campaigns, and delivering samples and coupons to consumers via co-op and solo direct mail. Gartrell is a graduate of Rutgers with a BA in communications and a BS in exercise science and sports studies.
